LONDON: South African skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and put Bangladesh into bat first in fifth match of the ICC World Cup 2019, here at The Oval on Sunday.After being outplayed in all three departments by the hosts, England, in the tournament opener, South Africa will look to get the first points under their belt today against resolute Bangladesh.Chris Morris and David Miller have been included in place of Dwaine Pretorius and the injured Hashim Amla.While there are no surprises in the Bangladesh side, apart from the inclusion of veteran opener Tamim Iqbal, who had been an injury doubt leading up to the match.Proteas team manager, Dr Mohammed Moosajee said the star batsman "hasn’t fully recovered from the blow sustained to the helmet during the match against England on Thursday”.“With the quick turnaround between the two matches, he is being rested as a precaution, based on our post-match re-assessment.
